ReadingReading Journal

Why keep a reading journal? We all like to see our accomplishments. Think of it this way when we have a bunch of things to do we make a list. As we finish things on the list we cross them off.  This small act simply shows us we are done with that “to do” task and gives us a feeling of accomplishment. A reading journal is similar. Having a fun nice looking Reading Journal is even better. I came across one recently that I so wish I had had when my kiddos were younger. Check it out here.

Complete Reading Curriculum

My children loved to read! They still do! I had a really hard time keeping enough books around for them to enjoy. We managed with many trips to the library and many purchases. Now it is even easier to get good reading material with the digital technology of tablets and readers.
