Salvation Choice Decision

Salvation choice is just that a choice. It is interesting as we attend different homeschool meetings and field trips, and conventions, the conversation always turns to what we have decided. It can be a new curriculum decision or a new technique for teaching. Whether “unschooling” or “structured”, we make decisions daily related to life, but where do we stand with the most important decision?

Choice to Accept

In John 3:16, the Bible clearly states “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Would you be willing to sacrifice your child for any reason?

God gave His Son willingly to die for our sins. As the Bible says in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God;”

We are all sinners and “The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Accept the Gift Today

It is as simple as accepting the gift. The Bible says “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

It is as simple as repenting of your sins, confessing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and believing that He was raised from the dead and is alive today.

If you want to accept Him, it only takes a simple meaningful prayer stating that you are a sinner, and accept Christ’s gift of salvation and that you believe He is risen from the dead and is alive today.
